What we collect
When you create an account we collect your email address. When you use Taylo we store the base resume you upload (as extracted text), every job description you paste in, and each tailored resume we generate for you. If you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment details directly. We never see or store your card number.
Why we collect it
Your base resume and job descriptions are used for one purpose: generating your tailored resumes. Your email is used for login and account notifications. We don't run ads, and we don't build marketing profiles from your resume data.
What we never do
We never sell your data. We never use your resume, job description, or generated content to train AI models, yours or anyone else's. We never share your resume data with other users or third parties, except the infrastructure providers (Supabase for storage, Stripe for billing, OpenAI or similar for generation) strictly necessary to run the product.
How long we keep it
Your base resume and tailored resume history are kept for as long as your account is active, so you can revisit past versions. If you delete your account, we delete your stored resume data within 30 days.
Your rights
You can delete any tailored resume from your history at any time from the dashboard. To request a full export or deletion of your account data, email us and we'll handle it within 30 days.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, and a referral-tracking cookie (PromoteKit) when you arrive via a partner link. We don't use third-party ad-tracking cookies.

If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and note the new effective date below.
